Resolution Economics’ Financial Advisory Services (FAS) Expands in New York to Provide Expert Testimony, Consulting and Forensic Investigations and Technology Services

Resolution Economics, a leading provider of forensic accounting and sophisticated economic, statistical and financial analyses, is proud to announce the addition of Michael Braverman and Edward Moon as Partners based in the firm’s new and expanding New York City office.

Michael Braverman, CPA, CFE, CGMA, joined the firm as a Partner and New York office leader. With nearly 30 years’ experience, his practice includes internal investigations, forensic accounting, white collar matters, accounting and auditor malpractice, purchase price and post-acquisition disputes, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and other regulatory enforcement actions, and financial statement restatements. He also serves as an expert witness, consultant, and neutral arbitrator in matters involving financial reporting and the application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).

Prior to joining Resolution Economics, Mike was a Managing Director at both Duff & Phelps and Huron Consulting Group. Previously, he was an Audit and FAS Partner and spent 20 years with Price Waterhouse (now PwC), Ernst & Young, and Grant Thornton.

Edward Moon, a forensic technology expert, joined the firm as a Partner to start and lead the Forensic Services Technology practice. Mr. Moon has significant experience in providing eDiscovery, computer forensics, IP data remediation, eRecords management, and investigative services in support of litigation, regulatory investigation, merger & acquisition, and incident response.

Mr. Moon previously served as managing director at KPMG LLP, director at Standard & Poor’s Corporate Value Consulting (now Duff & Phelps), and a member of the Technology & Risk consulting group at Ernst & Young.
